“Lamento” is the first component of a larger sculptural trio: Uni et Trino.
This first mask, luminous amulet against Loneliness, stems precisely from the primordial behavior that loners unconsciously engage in, from a sort of 'defense weapon' that makes their malaise visible and obvious, their difficulty in understanding this new experience.
Since unaware of their condition, they embark on a journey in search of the reasons that led them to an isolated and distant state, which in their minds results unjustifiable.
Unable to understand the reasons or ignoring for pride what are the true motivations for their loneliness, “Lamento” arises like a gentle, annoying and incessant echo.
A lamp born during the pandemic, which changes appearance day after day, given its reality in untreated copper; a lamp that annihilates Loneliness from within and which purifies in apotropaic way the environment that respectfully hosts it.
