With its iconic lines, features for which it was shortlisted for the XXVI Compasso d'Oro, the T33 sofa is presented by Officina Della Scala, winner of the ADI Design Index 2019 as excellence in design, with a new look, with a new image.
Designed by architect Franco Albini in 1933 for the Steel House at the 5th Milan Triennale, the 'T33', presented at the Salone del Mobile di Milano 2022, sees brushed brass replacing steel. The architect's signature, which was expressed through compositions of volumes that interpenetrate and harmonize in space according to harmonious relationships, is emphasized today by the dialogue that brass establishes with the bouclé fabric covering. This contrast between solid and light elements allows for the creation of unique relationships between spaces and articulates a dialogue between the parts of the house.
