Designed to house books and objects, “AEDICULA” can stand on its own in order to divide spaces or it can lean against a wall; like ancient Roman libraries, it becomes an element of decoration too.
From the imposing marble at the base, cleverly moulded aluminium leaves sprout; from the solid stone magically take life organic forms almost dancing.
The rigour of the patina material harmoniously dialogues with the plasticity and lightness of the metal.
“AEDICULA” is an object capable of furnishing very different environments, connoting them with an unmistakable and out of the ordinary sign.
Marble and aluminium, both natural materials, have been selected also for ecological reasons, since they are recyclable.
Just as creativity intertwines traditional materials with technological ones in an original combination of forms, as well colours are also matched with refinement and originality. The aesthetic result leads to reflect on the countless possible combinations between mankind, nature and design.
