As a result of extreme cleanliness in the stroke, “TABULA RASA” comes from the union of two materials that are typically in antithesis: marble and aluminium.
The first is the material of classicism, timeless architecture, nature capable of expressing an infinite number of harmonious colour combinations. The second is the symbol of modernity, contemporary architecture, the action of man capable of transforming metals into ductile and malleable materials.
The grandeur of marble meets the lightness of aluminium in a project that breaks the mould, reversing traditional functions: it is not marble to support aluminium thanks to its strength, yet the exact opposite.
Suitable for elegant and rigorous contexts as well as high tech spaces, “TABULA RASA” represents the white sheet around which to express any design idea.
Marble and aluminium, both natural materials, have been selected also for ecological reasons, since they are recyclable.
Just as creativity intertwines traditional materials with technological ones in an original combination of forms, as well colours are also matched with refinement and originality. The aesthetic result leads to reflect on the countless possible combinations between mankind, nature and design.
